The selection includes several Victorian sofas in a camelback design on ball and claw feet and a hard to find matched pair of Victorian upholstered high back settees with Queen Anne style legs. There is an Empire style painted wood frame antique sofa with high scrolled ends on large paw feet and an Empire style banquette with a black lacquer wood frame and gilt trim on stylized tassel feet. From the early 19th Century there is a delicately carved tied-ribbon back Chippendale style settee on cabriole legs - a fine example of chair settees of Dutch times with the backs giving the appearance of chairs side-by-side.
