LINDA HORN has a varied collection of 19th Century antique beds. You will find an English burled walnut canopy bed with curved footboard, as well as, a French mahogany sleigh bed or daybed accented with carved swan figures on each of the curved sides. In a more intricate Victorian style there is a giltwood bed with tapestry headboard flanked by carved stylized swan figures and giltwood flower pattern sideboards and footboard. An elegant rosewood bed has the headboard and footboard inlaid with ebony and brass. And a hard-to-find English cast iron day bed is a testament to the artist’s craft with the ironwork in an elaborate scroll pattern.
